I attended University of California, Irvine. My residency in Family Medicine was at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, CA. After residency, I attended Hahnemann College of Homeopathy from 1993–96. I incorporated Classical Homeopathy into my practice in the underserved community clinic of Soledad, CA. My practice included a large amount of obstetrics, and I was invited to teach the use of homeopathy in obstetrics to our local midwives network. My private practice of Family Medicine incorporated Classical Homeopathy, as well as a small repertoire of manual (osteopathic) techniques and natural interventions for cardiovascular and metabolic health. I also had the opportunity to incorporate homeopathic care in overseas missions in Romania, Mexico, and South Sudan. In December 2020, I closed my practice to move to Southern California to be close to family and have continued a part-time practice, exclusively using homeopathy, with virtual and in-person visits.

I became a CNM because I enjoy bonding with my patients and helping them through one of the hardest and most exciting experiences of their lives. It is so rewarding to watch and be a part of bringing lives into the world every day.
